Nuhu Gidado Congratulates Barr M.A Abubakar

"Our Bauchi State gubernatorial primary election has come and gone and, my brother, Barr. M. A. Abubakar has successfully been elected to fly our party flag come 2015! Accordingly, I wish to hereby extend my CONGRATULATIONS to him especially, and to our party faithfuls. Alhamdulillah!

Success in politics, I believe, does not start and end with the reward of an office or seat, but certainly, it involves making contributions that impact positively on the system. We've collectively and, indeed, successfully been doing so and, Insha Allah, will continue to relentlessly participate in every struggle that will challenge oppression of our people with a view to promoting equity, justice and good governance. This is a task that will never be compromised.

Similarly, immediate past national chairman of the party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, who resigned in January this year, is warming up to return to Wadata Plaza, as he is reported to have briefed his lawyers to challenge his resignation as the national chairman of the ruling PDP, claiming that he did not resign properly as the national chairman of the party.

2015 presidential ticket: APC govs insist on VP slot

Okorocha, Oshiomhole and Amaechi

Via PUNCH

There are strong indications that the All Progressives Congress governors may produce the party’s vice-presidential candidate for the 2015 election.

Saturday PUNCH’s investigations on Thursday in Abuja showed that the governors were demanding that one of them should be given the party’s vice-presidential slot.

It was reliably gathered that their demand was premised on the indication that a former Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) or ex-Vice-President Atiku Abubakar might get the presidential ticket.
