A coalition of youth
groups under the banner of Bauchi Youth Progressive Initiative has thrown its support behind the All Progressives
Congress guber aspirant, Engr Nuhu Gidado to be the next governor of the state .
Barr Iman M Bello, who made the development known yesterday
during a solidarity visit to the Nuhu Gidado Campaign Organisation, assured
massive support of all members of the organization across the state,
who according to him, were the beneficiaries of the selfless services rendered
by the candidate of their choice in empowering the
youth in the state.
"Nobody
would have been better than this choice from the array of prospective APC
gubernatorial aspirants considering the pedigree of all of them,’’ he said. The group added that it looked
forward to a non-sectional and all-inclusive government by the candidate
In his remarks, Yakubu Adamu who
represented the DG of the Nuhu Gidado Campaign Organisation Engr Habu Mamman, assured the
coalition of more programmes already on the table aimed at a formidable fight
against unemployment and poverty among the teeming youth in the state, adding
that, number of programmes pertaining women empowerment would also take up soon
as Engr Nuhu Gidado takes the mantle of leadership in the state.
